I cannot say enough about Funeral Services of Distinction Inc. Each time that we’ve needed them, they’ve come through without a hitch and left us feeling as if our loved one was sent away well and honored in the most appropriate way.

The first experience that I had with FSD was when my 7 month old grandson passed away. Due to his age, our family being from Ohio and the sudden way that he passed away, we had no clue as to where to turn or what to do. When we found FSD, it was a true Godsend. My grandson looked amazing, the service went over without a hitch and despite fact that we didn’t have any insurance for a seven month old baby and our funds were limited, the service was very dignified and classy.



Most recently, my niece passed away unexpectedly and we again reached out to FSD. Again, it was a very sudden and unexpected death and we had to plan for family to arrive from all over the United States. Even with all of the moving parts involved, my niece looked very much like herself – which was important because she had 4 children under 5 that needed to say goodbye. The service was very dignified and classy, our family was handled with care and concern….we honestly felt as if we were being taken care of by a family friend due to the efficient and caring way we were handled.

Dear Mr. Mortuary Master & Team,

It marks a little over two years since you serviced my family, and people are still talking about the farewell celebration of our son Dale Jeffries.

Thank you so very much for taking care our son. We didn’t think that We would ever be able to get that negative image of finding dale out of our heads and also can’t imagine what you had to go through preparing your childhood best friend, but have never seen a dead person look so alive and vibrant.

Thanks to you and your team, you guys gave us the closure that was needed, and you stood up to your name being a Service Of Distinction.

I admit I was so terrified to see Dale, but when you guys got finished with him, I could not understand how he looked so alive, so young, so vibrant but most of all sleep. I couldn’t even cry because I was so amazed at how life like my son looked.

The way dale looked really took my breath away. I still remember vividly all of the friends asked who was the funeral home making comments of how natural, his cologne, and even the mischievous smirk that he would have on his face. Adam, from the farewell celebration service, the flowers, musical selection, the presentation and even the surprise of you singing to us at the service at the end, everything exceeded our expectations here in Texas. It even means the world to know that someone so high and so far away, as some friends said “the man on the tv commercial” you would travel all the way to Texas just to serve our family and provide the finest farewell for us.

We could not have been happier in this trying and sad time that we chose the service. I lost my dad September 21, 2016. At that time, I called the Mortuary Master Adam Casey, to ask that he handled my dad’s remains and services. From the very beginning, The mortuary master and Funeral Services of Distinction Inc. in Chicago, IL were very professional, accommodating and personal. My family and I were treated with the most respect and patience during this most difficult time. My father’s service including a visitation, for which Adam found a church to have the visitation the Friday before the funeral services. Upon viewing my dad for the first time since leaving him at the hospital, I’m happy to say my dad looked wonderful! I requested no excessive make up and there was none. My dad looked as if he was napping. He even had a smile on his face. The way Funeral Services of Distinction, Inc. presented my dad was definitely beautiful and up to my dad’s standards. From the casket to the poster/picture placed in it, the obituary, both trifold and “magazine” style. We were truly happy how my dad’s services were handled. Adam J. Casey and Funeral Services of Distinction are top notch at what they do.
