Daythol Delores Sykes, was the first born to the union of Raymond and Sandra Syhes, She started her life
on November 26th, 1962 in Chicago Illinois.
Daythol was educated by the Chicago public schools. She attended luther Burbank elementary and
wendall phillips high school.

Daythol enjoyed life and overcame many difficult challenges as she looked for a better life for her
children. First in Milwaukee, then in Madison Wisconsin. She loved her children very much, like any
mother she always made sacrifices and did the best with what she had. Like her mom, she was a giver
and had a big heart for other people and their children.
"I am now ready to be offered"... II Timothy 4:6
On September 9th 2015, Daythol heard the master say, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy
laden, and I will give you rest". She transitioned from earthly labour, to her heavenly reward. Daythol
was greeted by her father Raymond J. Sykes Sir who proceeded her in death.
"I will not leave you comfortless"... St. John 14:13
Daythol leaves to cherish precious memories her loving mother, Sandra Sykes (Billy) of Madison WI,
Seven children; Daymion, Katrice, Daylena, Delton, Dwain Spinks, Daymetrius and Dayon, Three
Beautiful grandchildren, Six Siblings; Ray Sykes Jr. (Debra) of lansing, IL. Dwain Sykes (Lisa) of Madison
WI, Eugene Sykes (Michelle) of Madison WI. Francille Clark of Calumet City IL. Delon Sykes of Chicago, IL.
And Laquan Sykes of Chicago, IL. Many people were special to her especially through her difficult period,
Aunt Martha Gibson (Osceloa) of Chicago, IL. Aunt Jeanette Hoskins of Chicago, IL. Mildred Salone of
Chicago, IL. Cousi Larry Pender (Janell) and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and loving
extended family and friends.
