It was a cold winter day on February 13th, 1989 in the busy city of Chicago Illinois, that Larry McGee and Jacqueline Curry welcomed a screaming, bouncing baby boy into the world. After slight consideration, they decided to name him Mario Martell McGee.
Growing up, Mario was a very active kid, and always keeping himself busy. Mario received his formal education from Banner High School. In his spare time, Mario enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his family, his greatest joy was his children. Mario moved to Minneapolis, MN in 2009 to start a new beginning for himself and his offspring.
On June 30th 2016, Mario crossed the finish line of this life, and transitioned from this life to peaceful rest. Mario is preceded in death by his daughter Nevaeh, Grandmother Ernestine Tucker, Grandfather Nathaniel Norwood, two Uncles Fred Tucker and Kenny Curry, and his Aunt Debra Curry.
Mario leaves to cherish his memories; his mother Jacqueline Curry, Father Larry (Satrina) McGee. Children Shamayia, Sequan, Jada, Denya, Jasmin Jr, Mayana, and Jabri McGee. Brothers Antonio (Priscetta), Lorenzo, Roger Curry, and Jeremy McGee, step brother Mario Hill. Sisters Ebony Williams, Jasmin McGee, and Ashley Henry Curry. Grandmother Mary Norwood. Aunts Martha, Cynthia, Shuntrel Curry, Lucinda Moore, Kaneshia (Samuel Sr) Garrett, Renee Eaton, Lauri (James) Foggs, Deatrice (Dwayne) Anderson, Tameka, Lolita Hall, and Demtrius Tucker. Uncle John Tucker, Special friend and mother of his children Cynthia Dinkins, two god-brothers Diayero Betts andMario Lee, and a host of other relatives and friends.
